The Guelph Fire Prevention Division of the Guelph Fire Department will be conducting random risk-based inspections for new business licences, business licence renewals and business ownership changes. All businesses will be inspected on a rotational basis throughout the coming years. Inspections may be unannounced but will be conducted at a reasonable time with consideration taken to the type of occupancy being inspected.

The self- inspection check list follows the Fire Code and does not imply or limit the responsibility of the owner or owner’s representative to carry out all the provisions of the Fire Code at all times.
